Warranty Policy

1. Overview

Outside Peak USA stands behind the quality of every product sold on outsidepeakusa.com. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage available for products purchased through our store, how to make a warranty claim, and what is and is not covered.

Warranty coverage varies by product brand and category. All warranty claims are handled by Outside Peak USA on behalf of the applicable manufacturer. You do not need to contact manufacturers directly — we will coordinate on your behalf.


2. Warranty Coverage by Product Category

What "Lifetime" means: Lifetime coverage applies for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. It covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It does not transfer to a second owner.

3. What Is Covered

Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions, including:

  • Structural failure of steel frames or welds not caused by misuse or overloading
  • Mechanical defects in pulleys, cables, drawer slides, or moving parts present at or arising shortly after delivery
  • Components that arrive missing, damaged in transit, or non-functional upon first use
  • Parts that fail under normal use within the stated warranty period

4. What Is Not Covered

The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Damage caused by improper assembly, installation, or use outside the product's intended purpose
  • Damage caused by exceeding the product's stated weight or load capacity
  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading, and surface abrasion from regular use
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, water exposure, or environmental conditions (rust due to outdoor storage, etc.)
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product's function
  • Products modified, altered, or repaired by anyone other than an authorized technician
  • Consumable items including resistance bands, sanding mops, drill bits, and similar accessories beyond the initial coverage period
  • Damage resulting from improper storage or non-standard operating environments
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact our customer support team within the applicable warranty period:

Please include the following when contacting us:

  1. Your full name and order number
  2. The product name and brand
  3. A clear description of the defect or issue
  4. Photos or video clearly showing the defect
  5. Proof of purchase (order confirmation email)

We will review your claim and respond within 2 business days. If your claim is approved, we will arrange one or more of the following resolutions at our discretion:

  • Shipment of replacement parts at no charge
  • Full product replacement (subject to availability)
  • A store credit or refund where replacement is not feasible

Outside Peak USA reserves the right to request the return of defective products before issuing a resolution. Return shipping costs for approved warranty claims will be covered by Outside Peak USA.


6. Warranty Transfer

Warranties provided under this policy apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable. Coverage does not extend to products that have been resold, gifted, or transferred to a second owner.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Outside Peak USA's liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from a product defect, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or lost productivity.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable U.S. consumer protection laws.


8. Warranty and Return Policy

This Warranty Policy is separate from our Return and Refund Policy. For non-defective returns within 30 days of delivery, please refer to our [Return and Refund Policy].

Warranty claims may be submitted at any time within the applicable warranty period, regardless of whether the 30-day return window has expired.
